I think a lot of people kind of miss out on this pack because it came out so late in the sims run, and has a lot of cool things to do, but most people were burned out from buying the previous ones and the announcement of sims 4 probably hurt its sales. Ifyou are a builder, especially of modern or otherwise unique builds, this one adds some really great furniture. There are lots of new abilities, and simbots, which are pretty fantastic. You can try to change your destiny and create an apocolyptic or utopian future. This one adds the future, which is kind of 3 places in one. Into the future I have a lot of fun with. If you do a lot of skill building or collecting, this is the best expac for that behind world adventures. As others have mentioned, witches, fairies, vampires, zombies, and werewolves all have different things they can do. it also had open world, cars, color wheel tool. it has not crashed yet and i have played it alot lately. sims 3 has better frames and it doesnt have simulation lag. A happy, outgoing Sim has relevant objectives. What these personality traits really offer The Sims 3 is replay value.
Supernatural adds many different humanoid forms to the game. sims 3 because its more fun and the sims follow my commands and do more stuff while in sims 4 they dont have personalities, just stand there and ignore what i tell them to do. The core duties in maintaining a Sim remain the same, such as feeding, cleaning, socialising - the lifestyle elements woven throughout the series - are independent of personality and seem to consume much more of the gameplay. You may still want to get this one, as it does add some great cool outfits, if you're into off the wall crazy. This feature is not really useful- tours took a long time, and very few people keep playing (and sending/recieving sims) if you have a lot of sims3 friends then you may still be able to take advantage of this. (fake magic) The biggest thing this pack added was the simport, where you could send your sims to other towns for shows. You can be a musician, or a singer, or acrobat or magician.
Showtime offers some interactive, ambitions style performance careers. I know it's a game pack vs expansion pack, but I find Sims raising their kids really boring after the first 1-2 and instead of having a legacy save, I have a bunch of saves where I got to the second or third generation and just got bored. Grandmas get to have some cool interactions as well. That would be awesome, Parenthood just doesn't add enough compared to Sims 3 Generations. Generatsion: Generations adds prom and children and toddler chats. Get the gameplay things first, then the fancy furniture.Īs far as those expacs go, I recommend reviews of course.
I've got all Xpacs and Stuff packs- first and foremost, hold off on stuff packs unless they drop really low.
